Overthink?

 Thinking about overthinking :)

Am I exaggerating about mind synchronization or a spiritual experience? Sometimes I think so...

After the jams in which I traveled through different universes, not being able to reach the people who participated in it makes me think like that.

Of course, people have different priorities, the music itself is like that, or maybe I'm just listening to myself even in the parts I cut and added here!

No!

I listen and add melodies from myself as much as I can. Of course we have limits in terms of technique and talent. But I witness that new ones emerge by combining with melodies that are not in my head.

We have many friends who play this way and think this way. I can't reach most of them because of language barriers. Most of them don't want to be reached anyway.

That's why I doubt all of this, I wonder if I've got the wrong idea somewhere.

Why do people do the same thing over and over again? Imagine a music room, 4-5 people are playing in harmony and someone can come in and spoil everything. How can we not have a solution to this?

Yes, everyone has the freedom to express themselves, but if there are no limits to freedom, it means that we are not free at all.

In such a collective music environment, playing with a metronome (being synchronized) and listening should be the limit. But I don't think we can even agree on that.

People continue to mute or cut down the sounds they don't like and continue to play in that way. The one who plays incorrectly accepts this as correct and continues in this way without ever being resolved.

Or they leave the room, isn't it unfair for one person to leave the room for the others? And is it possible for that person to understand that? Or what will you do if he/she comes back to the same room you connected to?

All of these things have a bad effect on the music made in the NINJAM environment, and cause people to move away from it.

My solution is this simple: Organized jams... We should at least have a room prepared for that. Everyone who connects to this room should be in contact with others beforehand so that everything can be done much more smoothly.

That way, without excluding anyone, people who just want to kill time or do finger exercises can have fun in other rooms. In order to participate in a more organized jam, it is much better to play with people who understand the music or the concept from the beginning.

I'm not writing this to patronize anyone. I'm doing this because I believe that it's wrong to do the same things for so many years and get the same results. It's not enough for me to play only with people I get along with very well. NINJAM is a place where anyone from all over the world can join at any time, I like this philosophy and it should continue. It just needs to be more organized, at least we should be able to do it for one room.

Lately, more and more often, but always, I started to think that people misunderstand me when I talk about the benefits of collective production.

I'm not looking for it because I can't produce music on my own. I can produce a song with all its stages on my own, I even recorded brutal vocals years ago :) I don't want to repeat that :)

I just don't find it meaningful that the content I produce alone turns into a consumption product and tries to gain a place in the current music consumption system.

That's why I'm looking for a creative environment where music and minds can synchronize, that's why I always emphasize collective production.
